State of charge is not state of health

100% charged does not mean
100% healthy.

The percentage on the dashboard shows the energy available at that moment. The state of health of the battery is a different assessment, and it depends on the information the vehicle provides and on the testing method used.

SOC

The energy available in the battery at the time of the check.

SOH

An indicator of the battery's condition relative to its reference values, according to the data and the method available.

A static test, a dynamic test and an in-depth test do not measure exactly the same thing.

We don't assume. We verify.

The battery becomes clear when the data is read together.

Depending on the vehicle, we can analyse the information available from the BMS, the high-voltage systems and the behaviour of the battery.

CARA — Approved Battery Health Check
An approved report, not an in-house estimate

CARA Approved digital report.

For compatible vehicles, the SOH Blitz test generates a CARA Approved digital report — a European standard for battery health verification, recognised by dealers and buyers. The result is not a workshop opinion: it is a document issued through the approved testing solution.

The CARA Approved report is issued only through the SOH Blitz test. The dynamic test and the SOH Deep Test are additional technical analyses, without CARA certification. Availability is confirmed before testing, depending on the vehicle.

What we can check

The method available depends on make, model, year, battery type, charge level and existing software support.

SOH reported or calculated by the compatible solution

The battery health value as provided or interpreted through the testing equipment, where the vehicle makes it available.

SOC and pack voltage

The charge level at the time of testing and the total voltage read at high-voltage pack level.

Cell or module voltages

Individual values reported by the BMS for cells or cell groups, where accessible.

Differences between cells

The deviation between the highest and the lowest reported value — an indication of pack balancing.

Available temperatures

Temperature sensor values reported by the system during the check.

Battery and HV system faults

Active and stored codes from the modules linked to the traction battery and the high-voltage systems.

Charge and discharge data

Parameters on power, limits and behaviour during charging or discharging, where the vehicle exposes them.

Behaviour under load

How voltages and temperatures evolve while driving, as part of the compatible dynamic test.

Range parameters where available

Estimated or corrected range values reported by the vehicle, as supplementary information rather than a measurement.

Consistency of the battery data

We check whether the parameters read are coherent with each other and whether they point to something worth investigating further.

The exact list depends on make, model, year, battery type, software version and the access permitted by the vehicle's systems. Not all vehicles allow the same type of report or access to the same parameters.

Frequently asked questions

What owners ask most often.

Is the dashboard percentage the same thing as SOH?
No. The dashboard percentage mainly indicates the charge level available at that moment. SOH is a separate indicator of the battery's condition, obtained or interpreted according to the data the vehicle provides and the testing method used.
Does the test work on any car?
We cannot confirm universal compatibility. The available parameters and methods differ by make, model, year, battery type and software support. Compatibility is checked before booking.
What is the difference between Blitz and the dynamic test?
The Blitz test is a stationary procedure based on the data available from the vehicle and the BMS — the only one on this list that can generate a CARA Approved report. The dynamic test follows the battery's behaviour while driving and under load, where the vehicle and the conditions allow it.
Does the Blitz test directly measure the real capacity of the battery?
Not in every case. The test uses the information available from the vehicle systems and the compatible testing solution. An extended measurement of energy or capacity may require an in-depth charge and discharge procedure.
Do I receive a report?
Yes. You receive a digital report with the data available for the test performed. The structure of the report differs depending on the vehicle and the compatible method.
Is the report CARA Approved?
The CARA Approved report is available only through the SOH Blitz test, for compatible vehicles. We confirm availability before testing.
Can I test a car before I buy it?
Yes. Testing can provide additional information about the high-voltage battery and help you make a better documented decision.
Can the test predict how long the battery will last?
It cannot guarantee future service life. The report describes the data and the observable condition at the time of testing, within the limits of the method and the information available.
Do you also repair batteries?
Testing and diagnostics are separate from repair. Based on the result, we explain which further checks or interventions may be justified.
How long does it take?
A Blitz test can take roughly 15–20 minutes in total. The dynamic test usually takes longer, and an in-depth procedure can take several hours. The duration is confirmed according to the vehicle.
Do I need to prepare the car?
Yes, in certain cases. The charge level and preparation conditions differ depending on the testing method. You receive the exact instructions before booking.
Do you come to the customer?
On-site visits may be available in Bucharest and Ilfov, depending on the type of test, the location and the schedule. Cost and conditions are confirmed in advance.
